What do you most like about the feature?

Time Saving.

What benefits have you seen to your job role/ business since using the feature?

The CRM App has been very beneficial to our company as it saves time and our salesman who is out on off the office is able to enter sales orders or quotes and get the information sent into the office quickly which then means our customers get their goods quicker.

Purchase Order Processing (POP)

What do you most like about the feature?

Very simple and easy to use.

What benefits have you seen to your job role/ business since using the feature?

My Job has become a lot easier with regards to using the POP feature, I find the Suggested purchase orders option is better than what we used to use for Stock orders. I like how fast and easy it is to run and create orders and I also like the feature where you can make amendments to the order before you create it.

What do you most like about the feature?

Makes stock ordering a breeze.

What benefits have you seen to your job role/ business since using the feature?

We have found the Merlin system to be a major benefit to our business. It frees up the purchasing departments time, improving productivity and saving money for the company. Having a system can be easily customised to our individual needs is also an advantage that we would now be lost without.

What do you most like about the feature?

At a quick glance I can view real time information, such as daily sales, sales performance compared to last year, and top customers by GP%. The Customer Balance pie-chart is also very helpful as I can simply monitor our customers who have overdue balances, without having to run an aged debt report.

What benefits have you seen to your job role/ business since using the feature?

By displaying up-to-the-minute information, the dashboard has made monitoring performance almost effortless, helping us to focus on our targets and check company progress at a glance.

Data management especially the flexibility in managing cost and selling prices

What do you most like about the feature?
Multiple cost fields and matrix calculation, coupled with simple download and upload of data using microsoft query and the import routine make the maintenance and control of cost prices and selling prices a doddle!!

What benefits have you seen to your job role/ business since using the feature?

As a small company without a dedicated IT team the simple file layout makes the extraction of data really simple, meaning we can download a range of products to a spreadsheet, update with new cost prices and re-import in a matter of minutes. The matrix calculation manages the sales prices meaning we no longer miss out on margin when we have a price increase and by using the different cost types available on the stock record we can choose to maintain our selling price if we have a price reduction, rather than the sales team giving it away! The ease and speed of this means we can implement every month end price change for the 1st of the month, something that was impossible for us to even dream about in our previous system.

What do you most like about the feature?

So much better than notes feature, can list all calls with customers and reminders, Linked to calender in outlook.

What benefits have you seen to your job role/ business since using the feature?

Makes it quicker to find out which member of staff called the customer last and when and what was discussed so nothing is duplicated
Can schedule call backs so nothing is forgotten.

What do you most like about the feature?

Ability to send reports at any time to any staff member, customer and supplier.

What benefits have you seen to your job role/ business since using the feature?

This has changed the way we operate the business. Staff are tasked by scheduled reports, management is kept up to date with the changes, customers are advised of outstanding purchases, etc.
Meetings are recorded on call management, then reported to Accora management.

What do you most like about the feature?

Ability to create bespoke SQL queries within Merlin without running a serperate report.

What benefits have you seen to your job role/ business since using the feature?

Multiple users can immediately see the same, up-to-date information, without having to run a seperate report. This enable our team to immediately react to live situations.
It allows the creator to spend less time in 3rd party software (Crystal) reducing training requirements and speeding up report creation.
Different users profiles can be given access to different reports, enabling access only to reports they want/need to see. Reducing information overload has helped streamline processes and improve throughput.

I’ve been very pleased with the implementation of the system since the outset and the way that Merlin have provided the services so that Dougfield only have to worry about on-going success of the business and not the system. I that there is so much scope within Merlin that will provide even further benefits and advantages – I’ve found the Merlin multiple depots feature has helped improve the management of our branches. The kitting module has also been a useful tool as we build bathroom ranges and provide standard packs for contract bathrooms as well as retail customers. The regular software updates that Merlin provide free, as part of their support policy have been very beneficial as new features are made available and this also ensures that the system does not stand still unlike our previous system.
