Andrew Wilson and Clive Mallender, Chatsworth’s Chairman and Managing Director respectively, attended the latest SIBA Annual Conference at the Holiday Inn in Stratford Upon Avon. Although this was Merlin’s inaugural attendance at the SIBA Conference, both Andrew and Clive were overwhelmed with enquiries. Andrew commented “…this was our first visit to the SIBA Conference and, given its success, will surely not be our last.” Andrew went on to say “…this was one of the most well organised conferences I have ever attended. The format, agenda and speaker content was excellent – not to mention of course, the wide selection of real ales on tap, which, after all, is what the conference and SIBA is all about. We were delighted to have sampled most of the beers on show – however, the next day proved to be a bit of a challenge! Merlin was very well received by everybody who visited our stand. The fact that Merlin is a fully integrated brewery system and does not rely on any third party accounting software, seemed to be one of the most important factors. That coupled with our integrated CRM system and the very proactive Sales Order Processing system, which is based on our experience with the many beer wholesalers who use Merlin, was another reason for the level of interest we enjoyed.” Chatsworth would like to thank the organisers and the attendees of the SIBA Conference 2012 for making the event truly memorable.
