There’s a great deal of commotion in the press at present, as UK fuel prices hit a record high of 137.3p per litre on Monday (5th March) – countless owners/managers of UK businesses are left considering the impact on this vital business consumable on their bottom-line profits. Indeed, this set me thinking, when was the last time any of our business essentials reduced in value – indeed when did things get consecutively cheaper and better for that matter! For example, when you last replaced a company vehicle, like-for-like, was it cheaper than the one it was replacing and did it come with more or fewer features than the one before? Now I stand to be corrected, but it seems that business IT remains the only topic that bucks the trend.
