Merlin Speeds-up KSP’s processes:

2020 has presented a unique set of circumstances and associated challenges to all businesses, and we at Merlin are no exception. 

One such challenge saw KSP Tooling Ltd, an Industrial supplier of PPE, Tools and associated products who are based in Goole, change from their legacy software and migrate to Merlin, requiring careful consideration of the numerous challenges and restrictions posed by Covid-19. 

So how did Merlin still go on to deliver yet another successful project, incorporating user training and staff support under these very challenging circumstances?

KSP wanted to proceed with migrating from Sage Line 50 to Merlin in spite of the Covid-19 crisis and Merlin, using the many modern technologies at its disposal, were still able to deliver an extremely high level of training and implementation services, even when face-to-face contact and visits to site were restricted, which saw several elements of the project instead being delivered remotely, whilst still being tailored to suit KSP’s particular needs.

In his feedback to Merlin shortly after going Live, James Dackombe, General Manager of KSP Tooling, said of the system

“in short, I love it [Merlin] and your team have done a great job”.

James went on to say

“Our processes have been streamlined and significant high volume low complexity workflows have been automated, resulting in quicker ordering, checking in, and delivery of goods.  I thought we would still be ‘fire-fighting’ in the weeks following Go Live, asking our customers to bear with us. This certainly hasn’t been the case”. 

James also added

“…the Go Live process was very good, and the post go-live support has been excellent, so I’d have no hesitation in recommending Merlin to any company considering changing their computer system”.
